Meesho aims to do a Taobao, Alibaba’s influencer-led online shopping platform in China, with its livestreaming platform targeted at Tier-II and Tier-III India.


Meesho, for its livestreaming platform, is looking to bring on board influencers, who will have access to sellers and companies while Meesho plays the middleman and takes a cut from the proceeds of a sale.

Mumbai | Bengaluru: Social commerce platform Meesho is building a livestreaming platform to increase its portfolio of value-added services, people aware of the matter told ET.
